SAMHSA Behavioral Health Treatment Locator is a confidential, free, 24-hour-a-day, 365-day-a-year, information service, in English and Spanish, for individuals and family members facing mental health and/or substance use disorders. This service provides referrals to local treatment facilities, support groups, and community-based organizations. Callers can also order free publications and other information. Partnership for Drug Free Kids Parent helpline can offer support and guidance in planning a course of action 1-855-378-4373

The Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR) is a centralized recovery resource in CT. Anyone is welcome at their recovery centers, but unfortunately none are located near New Milford. They do have a telephone peer support recovery, that is open to anyone in recovery. (877) 676-CCAR

SMART recovery An addiction recovery support group with online support groups and online forum. They also have in person meetings, but the closest one to New Milford is New Haven.
